For early-stage investors, finding the right buyer for a stake is manual work, still slow that depends on personal networks.
EXITS.AI is an R&D; project to create an Intelligent Exit Recommendation System for Investors in Early-Stage Startups. It brings together a consortium of CRON STUDIO, Xavier & Falcão, INESC TEC and the University of Porto (FEP, FEUP). The project focuses on making startup exits easier through a platform that uses data analysis, artificial intelligence and automation to identify and assess potential buyers. The solution aims to increase the number and speed of exits and improve liquidity for early-stage investors. It also aims to strengthen the links between Portuguese startups and international investors and buyers.

OUR CONTRIBUTION
With investors in mind, we will turn the consortium’s AI research into a SaaS platform ready for use.
CRON will define the system architecture, making it modular, scalable and ready to connect to the external various data sources the platform relies on. On that foundation, we will build the data extraction components and the backend. We will also build the interface where investors explore potential buyers, review matches and download personalised one-pagers.
